On the lookout for an interesting topic for this discussion, I was browsing through my PowerPoints and came across some PowerPoints I presented to psychologists and doctors for the Kinky Clients in their practice! And I thought it might be of interest to Kink Aware Therapists and the people who are their clients.
Regulars in the Kinky scene and regular listeners to KinkyTalks know that Hans is a Coach/Therapist from the school of integrative therapy being taught at the Free University in Amsterdam and that Hans has decennia of experience in openminded therapy. Working as a Kink Aware Therapist with individual clients and with relationship problems. Hans has a range of experience in working with kinksters, helping them to accept what can’t be changed or helping them to recognise and find different coping strategies. Hans dispenses ideas and tips and tricks and hopes for discussion to improve a sex-positive quality of life and the quality of non-judgmental therapy.
Shame is killing!
I am hoping that me and other coaches and therapists have a nice discussion and that people come up with their own experiences and practice, their theories and theorettes and exchange ideas about therapy and coaching kinky people. Let’s inspire each other about: getting out of the closet, embracing kinks and fetishes improving relations with power-imbalances, keeping some balance in your life while enjoying all kinds of nasty shit… things like that 😀
