There are a lot of ideas and opinions about subspace. It has to do with pain it has to do with humiliation, it has to do with role-play, it’s all about endorphins in the brain et cetera et cetera.
Let’s be clear, there is no final answer yet in science for it simply has not really been investigated but Hans will try to give some decent information, and soms new ideas.
Together we’ll discuss: What it is? And how to get there?
Let’s dive into sub space together, and get ready for new experiences as the world opens up…
There are different experiences of what is called subspace and some people question if they ever been there and for others it’s the whole point of the game. It’s like orgasm, for some it’s directly related to BDSM and for others it’s just vaguely related.
A lot of people think it has to do with brain-chemicals like endorphines and dopamine. I tend to question that. in this talk. And pose a theory that has more to do with the polyvagal theory where you could think of different stressors applied by the Dom to create a brainstem-stress-‘state’ (Frenzy, Fight, Flight, Freeze, Feigndeath) in the container of the emotional relation that is also BDSM. This is why our main tip in the following discussion was: communication, communication, communication.
If we’d understand what is maybe we might be able to navigate this better, both as a Dom and as a sub. Let’s have Kinky Talks to spread our ideas and practical knowledge!
If you have questions or remarks beforehand, let us know please.
Registration on our Mailchimp-list is until 4 pm on the date of our Kinky Talk. And the email with the zoom-link for our talk (starting at 8pm A’dam time) will be sent around 7pm, that date.
We will record the first part of this talk, and then continue with unrecorded open conversations about “subspace” and “how to’s” in all privacy. Please keep your microphone muted until we stop the recording, or you might risk getting your face on YouTube.
When you got ideas or questions, pose them to Hans or Adalberto.
See you next time!
